Hi Bill.
Let's go back to interior design rember it is all about position and colour.
With the anchor the position needs to be more centralised and the colour is wrong.
But colour reproduction on line is not the best,my models always look bright but in reality they are a lot more subdued.

Looking Good and "realistically Shabby" in a nice sort of way that is !

Kim, Here's a crude image of kind of what I was thinking:

Hello all, how are we doing?
My downtown is going forward on a scale of 1/35 to 1/32.
Downtown consists of the Hotel Anchor, the dry goods outlet and a church.
They are all in different stages, and there are issues, yes, I know it all sounds like a relationship
Paper is a big material for me these days, such an accommodating material for paint effects
Cheers

Looks good, Kim.

Nice composition Kim. I like how the little roof between the dry goods store and the pub ties it together.

How do you make the corrugated iron? I've been making it by gluing 2 thin sheets of paper together and embossing them over a former before the dries. I can't roll mine like you seem to ba able to.

Hi Bill and Peter,
Thank you.
Peter, I don't want to give away the whole description, then it becomes just too easy.
My hint go to a big art supply store with a big craft section, have a good look around, and there you will find what you are looking for.
Most of my modelling is more paint-oriented instead of producing an item in 3 dimensions. I will try and paint it, as I get older, my patience is getting less so fast and simple is better.
Cheers

PeterH

Thank you Kim. Local art shops used to have that but not now. Fast and simple is applying to them too.
