Tin work.

I don't know if any one is interested but I am known for my miniature tin work in the miniature collector's field.  I put together a tutorial on tin work in miniature. One version is on The Scale Model Horse Drawn Vehicles forum and a more extensive,ongoing, version on the IGMA forum   http://www.fineminiaturesforum.com/index.php?/topic/112-tinware-tutorial/  Other than a small Chinese metal shear, Sherline lathe and mill, I use mostly hand tools and design and build my own metal forming dies and tools. Most of this works for many other modeling types.  If this is help to any one then my work is done.

Now that I have my cataracts taken care of and new glasses hopefully I will gets back to modeling soon.  Right now we are dealing with my wife, Pat recovering from knee replacement surgery (Friday morning, very early).  Have been taking care of her and much of the house work for several months leading up to the surgery. She is doing fine now, just the new surgery pain but has already walked some. Should be back (in the shop) to work in about another month.

Wondering if I could seek some assistance as to how I can go about making the fenders for my 1/16 Olds in tin,brass or aluminum.

If I were doing them full size I think I would fold the edge then use a Shrinker or stretcher to get the curves.
Any suggestions?
