I was running a train recently and decided to shoot a few new photos...

Stopping at Dos Manos:

Coming out of the tunnel east of Grandt Cliff:

Passing the old miner's cabin at Grandt Cliff:

I looked for your friendly lizard but didn't see her.
Nice photos Ray.

Here are some pics featuring my new passenger train... nothing too fancy, just a Bachmann combine and coach, repainted and lettered for my RR, plus I converted them to use body-mounted Kadee couplers. I have another coach in progress, and plans for a fourth. Someday I may scratch build some new rolling stock but these will do for now.

I also converted my 2-6-0 to battery power and installed an Aristocraft "Revolution" receiver. While I was at it, I painted the cab roof silver, and the cylinder ends black, and added some subtle weathering.

Enjoy!

Indeed!

Seems to me that battery power would be the only way to go on an outdoor layout.

Oh boy, my first trip to the infamous corner! All the best people hang out there.

I think you may be the first to notice my pun-tastic tribute to the late Mr. Grandt.
