I like the use of the old wheeled loader in the ship hold to clean up. At night even. Looks like it would be quite an interesting diorama.

Well Marc , I'm about 1/3 the way through my second Hulett but that will be it ....any more and I'll be wearing a straight jacket .

Ray, it's my guess that George Hulett's invention served America very well over the decades and through 2 wars . Sadly , everything is gone now , including most of the steel mills . Here in Canada there weren't any Huletts at our mills ( like Stelco in Hamilton Ont ) ....I guess we really enjoyed hand balming !

Paul , thanks , I've seen that one . The Hulett that really blew me away , given it was built over 50 years ago , is the one in the maritime museum in Ashtabula Ohio . Apparently a dockworker built the model , big scale (probably O or bigger ), back in the '40's or 50's . I usede to have a couple of pictures of it but they are no more  .
