I made some doors, windows with a Cricket machine using .0016" Kraft board. With 6 layers I have correct thickness.
I really wanted a screen door.

It's still under construction. What are you unhappy with? -- Russ

I've been working on the store.
Outside pics eventually.
Register is 3D print from eBay
Counter & shelving were done with the cricket. Walnut top.
Someday I'll feel like painting more figures...

Did you make the bag yourself? If so, nice job. Everything looks good. -- Russ

That store owner looks like Winston Churchill!
You may ask yourself: "Well, how did I get here?"

lab-dad

Yes. Made the bag. Thanks!
The shopkeeper is a descendent of Winston Churchill

I heard the shopkeeper is related to the Massachusetts witches on his mother's side...sort of a Winston-Salem thing going there.

lab-dad

Marty, The hardware and veggies for your store are accumulating nicely. I can say that with some 'authority' ;D  because I stocked the general store on my layout. It mostly carries groceries, also some dry goods. There is a little hardware, though the new hardware store by the lumberyard has cut back on that a bit.
Here's a couple looks at the general store interior:
gen'l store interior copy 2.jpeg
The corn, carrots and potatoes in the upper right corner made from some kind of grass seed; green thread dipped in thick orange acrylic paint and tiny styrofoam beads painted brown.
Here's the view from out front

Here's a couple views of the inside of a real small"hardware store" that now is more of a general merchandise store, selling stuff from tools to ice cream sandwiches. They may suggest ideas for more things to pack into your store.
