Congrats to Don!

1st place :
- structure ; abandoned rail car shed
- internal combustion engine ; switcher under repair
- favorite train
- square foot challenge ; gas station

Don also won the Gazette Award with best structure entry - abandoned rail car shed.

In addition, Don was awarded the Mt. Albert Midwood Memorial Award for best wooden model with his abandoned rail car shed seen in the post above.

I've updated a couple of posts above with photos I made of Don's models in the contest room.

Had Don won Best of Show it would have been even better. Mike Engler took Best of Show with a large diorama (2.5 ft by 6 ft) of Sierra West logging camp kits.
