The vases are amazing. You tell us about the taste of the people in the house through their choices of high fired china and earthenware.  The child's chair is a beauty, with echoes of Eero Saarinen's design

It's a collection of carefully observed and thoughtful details that make the whole greater than the sum of the parts.

This design for childrens' chairs was quite typical for this period. As far as I was able to research no designer is known by name, as some huge furniture companies had their own design departments. But indeed the similarity to Saarinen's use of forms is immense.

I like the silver plane version much better.
