In my opinion, some of the finest work published in the Modellers Annual was an article on a 0-scale set of Virginia & Truckee passenger cars (Modellers Annual 2012) by Flavio Magaraggia.

But I have nevers seen anything else published by this very fine craftsman.

Does anybody know of any other book, webpage or magazine articles by this gentleman?

The man you refer to is Flavio Magaraggia, a dentist living in Italy. His earlier articles, about building locomotives, appear in the Narrow Gauge and Logging Annuals. I haven't heard from Flavio for a few years and have no idea whether he has built anything since the passenger cars. -- Russ

Thanks, Russ!
Do you remember what years he had articles in the annuals? Would love to buy them as PDFs.

The 2009 Logging Annual has Flavio's West Side log cars. The 2008 Logging Annual has his West Side Shay. -- Russ

Didn't he also do a West Side Heisler? Maybe it was someone else, but I recall it being a nice model...

He probably did. I got tired of paging through back issues to see if there was more. If the Heisler article exists it would be prior to 2008 and probably in a Logging Annual. -- Russ
