I have a little boy who is into Thomas Wooden Railway.  Every year, for Christmas, I try to make him a Thomas-sized version of the kit I've made that year.  This year, I'm way behind on my own stuff, but I managed to get his done.

I have a Tangent HO scale version I'm using as a reference for my own project.  He has seen it on my desk & is fascinated with it.  It has IC reporting marks, so that's what he's getting:

Ray: I have a pattern 3d printed, and resin copies are made from it.  This way, the finished product is a single block of resin (with magnets & wheels added).  Holds up well to a toddler.

Burl, Those are terrific! A great idea and execution of it.
