Cannot find it anywhere an article on a Caterpillar converted to a narrow gauge engine was it on the forum

not quite sure if you were thinking about my CAT-style forklift truck on rails ... or if you were thinking about a REAL caterpillar which had been converted to a REAL narrow gauge engine (don't remeber that) ...

OK, so what am I missing?
The only thing I remember from Myrick's #2 is an aborted attempt to install a Holt (60?) engine in an old worn out  standard gauge 4-6-0 by the Ludlow and Southern.

As my wife said "you never look" and then said have you looked in your Caterpillar books so panic over - Gerald yes it is the big type of Cat and thanks Chuck for the book info'
