Title: Superglue with different powders
Post by: Bill Gill on November 29, 2020, 08:20:01 AM
This 14.5 minute video shows superglue added to not just baking soda, but also powdered graphite, powdered aluminum, a mix of powdered aluminum and baking soda, even cinnamon! The results suggest these combinations can be used for making pastes for repairs and for casting durable small parts.
The video gets a bit silly near the end, but does caution that some reaction generate a lot of heat.

Who would have thought you could do that? In some cases the technique might be an alternative to 3-D printing. Thanks for the link, Bill. -- Russ
