Title: One for the metalworkers
Post by: Hector Bell on April 10, 2007, 03:56:38 AM
Hi all, I don't know if such things are acceptable here, but here is a shot of a Birdcage Maserati chassis I made a few years ago in 1/12th scale in nickel, brass and aluminium.
Cheers, Hector

Hector,

It's a model...and it's stunning work....so of course it's welcome.  ;D

The cage is a real work of art.  Are you planning on building more of the car as well?

Marc, alas no. A nice French gentleman bought it. He was most insistent he wanted it as it was, unfinished.  It saved me making 5 wire wheels with 72 spokes each!!
