Fantastic work! I especially like the ambulance he added to the scene. The paint and weathering on it are terrific.
I wish I could find a similar vehicle in 1/24th, it would make a great railbus.
Thanks for posting the photos & link Marc... he really does do magnificent work. Like Ray, I like the ambulance in the diorama, very evocative...
Paul
Ray,
It would take a bit of work, but this kit could be used. I have this kit, and was planning on making a bush-tram type of railcar with it (someday ::))

there is actuallu an Aussi prototype for this kind of van...I think it was the Smith Brothers logging operation or something like it.

I like the [how to] on the broken glass for vehicles. I dont know if glass would shatter like that on cars from the 40's or 30's. I think its plastic between the glass that holds the shattered pieces like that. ???? Either way i like the effect. Craig
Craig,
tempered glass is breaking in small pieces and is used in side- and rear windows of cars since the 40's and in full production after the 50's.
Windscreens are glass-pvb-glass laminations since the 20's - 30's
The glass in the VW is correct as it is a 70's model.
