Built this T700 turboshaft engine model together with a friend — and it was a blast! It took the two of us about two hours to finish, and we had a great time working on it side by side. Definitely one of the more enjoyable builds I've done recently.
You can see the level of detail in the parts — pretty impressive for a model of this scale. Everything fit together nicely and made the build feel really satisfying.

Here's the finished engine. It's motorized, and when you turn it on, it even makes a sound that mimics how it would run in the air. A very cool feature that really brings it to life. Honestly, this was a super fun project all around.

What scale is the model, Pitar? Is it mostly metal or plastic? What else can you tell us about it? You are new here; we ask a lot of questions. -- Russ
Nice looking model, Pitar. Looks like it has a throttle to rev it up when it's running. What scale is it?

The model is built at a 1:4 scale, assembled from metal parts. Once completed, it can actually start up, allowing you to see the internal mechanisms in action. The best part is that the sounds it produces are a realistic simulation of the real engine!

You're absolutely right! After starting it up, you can adjust the RPM, and it even simulates realistic engine sounds. By the way, the model is at a 1:4 scale.
Just to add some background info about the real-world engine:
The T700 turboshaft engine is widely used in both military and civilian helicopters. On the military side, it's found in the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, SH-60 Seahawk, McDonnell Douglas AH-64 Apache, and Bell AH-1W SuperCobra. In civilian aviation, it powers helicopters like the Bell 214ST and Sikorsky S-70C.
There's also a turboprop version of this engine, the CT7, which is used in commuter aircraft such as the Saab 340 and CASA/IPTN CN-235.
Thought this might be helpful for anyone interested in the technical background behind the model.

Thanks for the kind words! Actually, I'm a big fan of turbofan engine models and have quite a few more that I haven't shared yet. Hopefully, when I get some free time, I'll start posting more builds here.
