Title: Slum Structures
Post by: darrylhuffman on June 08, 2024, 03:07:42 PM
My parents migrated to California during the Dust Bowl in 1932.  They were part of thousands of poor people who dreamed of Paradise but who found reality quite different.

I have always been fasinated by Hoovervilles.  My childhood home was 9 by 20 with no indoor plumbing.

It still stands today and is used as a chicken coop.

Tom Farrell built three tenement structures that looked great, so I built my versions.

Sorry.  HO.

Could not have posted these long ago as all have been built recently.
