Hello,
I make this little diorama in 2008, start from a Minicraft 1/16 1931 Ford A Pickup Kit!
This was my fisrt experimental work in this scale!
Some weathered technical method are classic, airbrush paint, ink & alcohol and pigment of rust and soil.
It was inspired of some trucks and cars near american ghost town.
Sincerely !
LLOYD

Details and rattlesnake !
The rattlesnake are made from Pate Fimo.
Very nice job, Lloyd. -- Russ
Great job on the pickup and diorama, Lloyd. Minicraft also does a 31 sedan, van and roadster along with a 31 high boy V8 and V8 pickup. They are all $49.99 quite a bit more than I gave a few years ago. These are some of Minicraft's better kits and are all available now. I need to get one of the van and roadster kits. Any of them would make a good inspection car or derelict to practice weathering techniques on.

Hello Compadre,
Thank you all for your compliments!
About this Minicraft kit, the quality of plastic molding is perfect, the model is very easy to assemble!
You can buy this on eBay for more or less $20 .
Sincerely and so long!
Lloyd
Nice work Lloyd, I like the way that you have presented the truck with the other details the last picture almost had me fooled.
regards Michael
