Covering my basement wall's a little at a time with 1860 barnwood and old metal barn roofing.. ;D

Cool. I like seeing old wood put to good use rather than just tossed or left to rot.

Many years ago there was a company that was taking old barn wood like that and making picture frames and other objects from it. It still had all the lichen and everything.

If you had bought the wood and paid somebody else to build it the price probably would be about $250,000 ... and you'd have done a better job! -- Russ
