What scale is it? -- Russ
1:24 scale
Very nice!
Thanks Ray !
Hi. !
This diorama are in 1:24 scale (exact)
All you can see are scratchbuild.
The cobbles are small pieces of clay. Even some in the walkway. Others are made in wood.
The streetcar is a scratchbuild copying an Occre model.
At the start I was decide to finish the roofs with tiles, but at last, I build a small penthouse.

Nice, ;D
Looks like the way up to the Botanic Gardens in Lisbon
Even the trolley is scratchbuilt? Wow. -- Russ
Impressive! Do you have more photos of the trolley?
Pictures of the streetcar.

Thanks
Beautiful!
Does it run, or is it a stationary model? Either way, it looks great!
This is a stationary model. But is very easy to be motorized.
Again, thanks for your kind words and take your time to visit this post.
This is another version from the same subject. It's smaller ...

Xavier, are you interested in learning some weathering techniques? If so, some of our contributors could be very helpful. -- Russ

Ooops !!
This is a very subtle and tactful way to say that you find my finishes are of poor quality.
Anyway, I can always learn something. It's never too late.
I meant nothing negative. I merely thought you chose not to weather the dioramas. I have known some outstanding craftsmen who prefer to exhibit models that look new.
On the other hand, I also had a friend (an excellent modeler) who, after a few years, privately told me he didn't know how to spray paint and asked me to teach him. When he saw how simple it was he began to laugh and, from then on, his models had perfect paint jobs.
If, like my friend, you prefer a newer appearance but now want to try something a little different, the experts are here to help. (Unfortunately I am not one of them!)
Russ
great tree.
cheers very nice model
