Someone posted a picture of a single LED arch light a while back on Facebook. I sent it to my Dad since he uses LED strip lights in his display cases, and he loves all sorts of LED gizmos. He built this double-arch one for my birthday, and another for his own bench. Works nicely for photo lighting too!
1/16 x 3/4 inch aluminum strips bent in a hoop with adhesive backed strip LED lights attached. Screwed to wood sides and plugged into a transformer. Almost no shadows.
I still use my previous lights a focus lights, but the ambient lighting has improved greatly!
That's really swift! Mind if I pass the photo to my son?
We copied an existing concept, so it's fair game.
Very cool.
Thanks for that, Chuck. -- Russ
That's really neat Chuck.

Chuck; does you dad have time this week to "knock out" a few more of these? It looks great!.....Allan
