Hello everybody !
I'm french and I don't speak usualy english. But I'll try to speak english correct.

Hello to you too, and welcome!
Really nice modeling, I am looking forward to more posts!
Wonderful! I like the canyon-like layout of your diorama with buildings on both side of the street.
Inspirational. What material did you use to build the structures? -- Russ
Thank's for your answers ! ;)
I used differents material for the structures : styren, cardboard, plaster, gouaches, oil paint, pigments, ...
I used brass Photo-engraving, a master and plaster for brick work.
brass Photo-engraving sold by DECAPOD, a french Society.
http://www.decapod.fr/materiaux-de-base/251-feuille-de-briques-appareil-anglais-ho--2001500059022.html
But to the three last building I'll use laser cut technique.
At the moment I make a new building. Before I drew a sketch and plan with Autocad.

Welcome aboard! Very nice work, at least what i can see of it. For some reason, I'm only getting blanks spaces where some of the photos should be.
all good here

Hi Sami,
welcome to the forum - and your work looks promising!
Your approach with this mixture of real 3D-buildings and trompe-'loei-buildings is interesting, if I construed this picture correctly:

Welcome! I like these a lot! Hope to see more.
Hey, now I can see all the pics! Very interesting project.
Thank's for your encouraging messages.
I make a portal. I used styren.
But I don't know if I'm going to use hairspray technique or micro-painting for rust effect. I work in 1/87 and the portal is little.
What do you think of it ?

Fence? Gate? Quel matériel?
With us they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
Unfortunately, this does not mean anything to me.
Or it may just lines on paper? ???
Looks like styrene rod. I can't believe it would be, though, because that would be very fragile. So, yeah, what material? -- Russ
Maybe carbon fiber?
Volker
Windows grilles as the drawing shows on 11/03/2014!
Nice work - please show more :-)
Thank's for your comment !
Yes it's railing (I'm not sure of word in english) make with brass profiled (0.4 millimeters) for the windows.

With all those precise bends and solder joints they must have been hard to build. -- Russ
For the chairs I used this technique.

It's not difficult but we must be specific in working progress. The details are littles in HO scale.
I used so a template for the building tables.

Wow, very inspiring working with such tiny parts.

Nice pub! Have you thought about putting a light bulb in the pinball machine? I know nada about electronics, but it looks like it would be room for a lightbulb inside. And I would guess that a "random blinking generator" would be a rather trivial circuit.
Thank's
I thought about putting a light bulb but I don't know if I am going to make it because pinball is tiny and it's not very visible from the outside of showcase.

Is that plaster, or some kind of clay?
I don't know if that exist in USA but it's cardbord "Canson" which we can pelling. After peeling it stay a foam.
I shall take a photo of this cardboard.
Hi !
I didn't take a photo but I found a link on the cardboard which I used.
http://www.009.cd2.com/members/how_to/nouaillier_a.htm
In the U.S. we call that material "foam core" and the article in your link actually calls it "foam core" (as well as featherboard), the first time I have seen Nouaillier use that term. Until now, I only suspected that is what it is. (The first time I read about Nouaillier and his materials was in an article Nick sent a few years ago.) -- Russ
Is the Foam Core "peeled" dry, or do you wet it down first?

further proof that you can do well in HO excellent model making.
Yes Design-HSB, the HO scale is intesressant.
I alway making in HO scale since twenty year. In the futur I would try other scales on a smaller diorama : 1/35 or 1/43.5 for example
Very nice!
Tank you Ray.
