Post by: Mobilgas on September 08, 2014, 05:13:34 PM
Been working in the basement the last couple day's on a project I been wanting to do since I moved to our new house :) There was a 100 year old barn on the property we bought that was being torn down....all the wood was spoken for....but I happened to grab and stash some of it.  Here's what I did with it  ;D

Thanks Guy's......I'm glad you got a kick out of my 3 day project.  It was kind off odd working with real things and fit them to the wall that looked good to my EYE ;) Lots of this junk came out of my barn and got lucky and pulled some neat stuff from a local farmer that was cleaning up a old building close to me.....I helped him out and i was given lots of stuff for helping......neat stuff for FREE don't get any better that that.

Nice Craig, I did a project for a customer that used the old flooring from a barn. Unfortunately, the flooring was saturated with horse urine and when the heat came on in the house the smell was overwhelming.

Mmmm, nice !  My wife often comes into the house after doing the stables smelling of " Eau de Cheveux" . It is one of her most endearing qualities !

Chester,   I know what your saying I stayed away from the thick wide boards that were on the floor of the barn :o
