I saw the comments in the Fordson thread about NBW castings from Master Club. I tried searching the Hobbyeasy website (Hong Kong) with no luck. It is a very slow website to search and they don't have any Master Club NBW items listed.
I did find a UK e-bay website that had the name master Club http://stores.ebay.com/Masterclub-UK/_i.html?_nkw=nut&submit=Search&_sid=521633887 (http://stores.ebay.com/Masterclub-UK/_i.html?_nkw=nut&submit=Search&_sid=521633887) with the items made in Russia. Is this the same company?
A second question on sizes. Being in the US, I don't work a lot with metric numbers, but they list the NBW sizes in mm and they offer sizes such as 0.5mm; 0.6mm; 0.8mm; 1.2mm; etc. Now, in my understanding of decimal points, these sizes are extremely small, and almost identical to each other visually. When you get down to 1 (one) millimeter and less, visual difference to me is almost imperceptible. Am I reading this wrong? Do they mean 0.5cm and so on?
I work in 1:48 scale and can do the conversions OK, or so I thought. But those multiple sizes less than 1mm seem useless to me.
???
To me for a 1/48 scale model, between 0.6mm and 1.2mm there's a big visually difference. You should buy a metric ruler at Staple to see the difference ;)
0.5cm = 5mm
Cheers
Or, the difference between .6mm and 1.2mm is the difference between .023" and .046".

.023" and .046".
Even after 5 years in the USA I have still no idea what those numbers mean ;D
What those numbers mean here in the U.S. is that they are very small.
minimum detail to print in FUD at Shapeways is .1mm/.0039" .. which makes me wonder .. in an Alternate Shapeways Universe (ASW) .. is anything smaller then that theoretical? ???
Try this link for Hobby Easy.

Yes, the British ebay seller is selling the same items, but at a higher cost.

Then move back to East Commiestan, pinko. ;)
Bill, thanks for the link. I had spent 20 minutes on their website and couldn't find those.
I do have metric rules and verniers and yes, the difference between .6mm and 1.2mm IS noticeable but, .6/.7/.8mm not so much. ::)

I totally agree, a difference of .1mm is almost nothing :)
@Bexley: :P ;)
I've never ordered from them, but I hear this is a good source:

Tom
I recently tried to order some MasterClub parts from Models-Hobby (in Russia) and got the following email back from them.
Hello William!
I dont support masterclub anymore, sorry
Best regards,
Yaroslav
Too bad because they had really good prices on their website.

Tom, looks like that is the direct link to a Russian seller. Not sure what the prices are in (US Dollars?) and if they're not handling MC than it doesn't matter.
I ordered a bunch from Hobbyeasy in HK, I was a little uneasy giving a CC number to them and would have preferred PayPal. I'm keeping a close eye on my CC account.

I have set up a special CC for ordering online or over the phone. It has a set limit.

You can call your CC and arrange a one-time-use number for making an order with a set limit.
Forgot about that one time thing. Oh well, next time.
