Title: Prototype pics: Buffalo Pitts steam roller
Post by: Ray Dunakin on July 19, 2013, 07:41:43 PM
Last November I came across a Buffalo Pitts steam roller displayed outside a quarry and construction company in Santee, CA. I shot extensive photos of the whole thing, with many detail closeups.

Anyway, I finally got around to posting these pics to my website, hopefully some will find them useful for modeling reference or simply enjoy seeing this great steel beast. As always, if anyone wants high resolution images for modeling purposes, just let me know:

You can see the rest of the pics here:

Enjoy!

Ray, good job on the photos. That would make a great model.

Gee, Gordon, do you know anybody capable of building such a model? -- Russ
