Title: 3/32" thick Walnut?
Post by: lab-dad on March 19, 2013, 08:22:17 AM
Looking for either a sheet of or 3/4" wide "planks"?
It needs to be at least 18" long too.
I cant mill my own, just too thin for my equipment.
Midwest & MM & Model expo used to have but no more, searching did not find any.

Don't know if they still have it, but Northeast Scale Lumber used to sell it.

Hi Marty,

can't help you in the USA but for anyone looking for similar in the UK it is here...

http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/walnut_sheet.html (http://www.cornwallmodelboats.co.uk/acatalog/walnut_sheet.html)

It may be worth exploring the model shipbuilding route over there.
