Title: Radio Truck
Post by: Rail and Tie on February 25, 2013, 10:50:11 PM
Here is a HAM portable radio lab that was built for Horace Beale back in 1922. You can read more about the history here: http://www.eht.com/oldradio/arrl/2008-05/3ZO.htm

It is based on the 1:87 scale Jordan Packard Truck. Weathering and some detailing to be done yet.

Cheers!

Darryl

Definately!  It proves once again that there is a prototype for just about everything!

Neat contraption, and a cool little build of it.
