Title: Vintage film of pole road
Post by: Ray Dunakin on September 07, 2012, 11:32:31 PM
I saw this posted on another site, pretty interesting silent film from 1930 of a logging vehicle traveling on a pole road. Motive power appears to be either a tractor conversion or some kind of truck, mounted on wide, double-flanged wheels. (I was hoping to see a Climax or some other steam loco, but this is still cool.)

I knew I should have been more creative in woodshop.

Looking t the radiator (as bet as I can see) it looks like a Packard truck or maybe even a FWD.
