Does anyone know where I could obtain a small t-square suitable for use with thin material?
Do you mean something like this (http://www.hassler-profile.li/TProfilNr18D.html)?
There's the thin beam square from Micro-Mark: http://www.micromark.com/thin-beam-square,8426.html I use mine A Lot.

Interested if you find one. I have one of those thin mini squares like the one here on Micro-Mart

Too slow this morning! I was just about to post the third one that Ed posted:

That one is a T-square marked off in 1/24 scale ... IIRC, that's the scale you're using ... he also has 1/25, 1/35, etc. I've gotten one of this 1/35 scale rules and find it handy ... markings are white on clear acrylic, so it's not the easiest to read. Still handy. Quick service from him too. I'll probably go back and get more of the 1/35 items he has.
You might want to search "mini" or "miniature t-squares" ...

Good link Ed and Dallas. He has a lot of good tools for measuring.
Thanks, that 1/24th scale t-square looks like just what I need.

I used the 1/35 acrylic ruler from Fassett Studios (the guy who makes the T-square mentioned) tonight ... the acrylic is .060" thick (just under 1/16") ... seems likely the T-square would be made from the same stock.
