Title: Riva model
Post by: Nurser on January 26, 2008, 01:32:46 PM
Hi guys, not rail, but boats this time.  This is a bit of a test to see what our new scanner's been doing.  A 1/12th scale Riva Aquarama Special.

Very pretty boat. I love the woodwork in those old speed boats.

Thanks guys.  The woodwork has to be good on a Riva model because the real thing is mindblowingly good.  And the finish is like glass.  But with the price of the last one made in 1994 being ?394,000 it bloodywell ought to be!  The wood, BTW, is steamed pear, solid and veneer.
