Title: hoisting apparatus drawings

I was looking at some of my Father's old construction manuals and came across an instruction book for hoisting apparatus construction and operation. I placed a few detail drawings in an album here:

Thanks Chester for the photos.

As common and as essential as derricks were in the old days, I am amazed more people do not really take the time to do them right.

I have seen things in magazines that absolutely would not work in real life.
