Title: Campagne Locotracteur
Post by: Carlo on November 24, 2010, 07:10:44 AM
Looking for help:
I am gathering data and supplies to build this "funky" interesting-looking locomotive in 7/8" scale, 45mm (2') gauge. It was a French WWI War Dept. loco I believe, and later used in industrial/agricultural settings. There seems to be precious little about it on the web. I am in touch with Claus Nielson, who built a smaller scale version, and I hear there is an existing restored prototype somewhere (???) in Spain .

If anyone can direct me to photos, plans, or other data, I would appreciate the help. One of the few photos I have found is attached.

I can't help with your research, but this is going to be fun to watch.
Those outboard springs will look great on the model.

Bunch more on this French forum (and page thru thread):

WOW! That was fast, and very helpful.
I had seen the Nielson site, but not the French Forum.
Thanks,
Carlo
