I have an article in the August issue of RMC about making scrapyard HO scale appliances out of Legos and all kinds of real scraps. The appliances will become part of the clutter on my son's next module.

I just discovered that article this evening and was going to post something about it here. Very good article. -- Russ

Thanks Russ and Chuck. Lacking room and budget, I enjoy turning odds and ends into details. The bunch of appliances has grown since the article was originally submitted. None of them are highly detailed, but the cummulative effect of a pile of them works well.

The gas stove on the far right is really convincing! Any pics of them installed!

Thanks, Paul.
My son is still working out how much of the scrapyard and the adjacent huge carshop building will fit on his module, so no photos of them in place.
The closest right now is a mock up (vaguely) for the article of some of them staged on my layout.

Thanks, Ray. With everything else going on a couple weeks ago I missed your reply.
