For 2 hours i have tried to post some pictures, I don't understand what I am doing wrong. It says max size is 230 KB. Then when I try to post it says 400KB. Is the 230 PER IMAGE or TOTAL?  No matter what I try it say file too big. I looked for a sticky about posting pictures but did not find one.

Thanks
Paul

I seem to have got it but boy is resizing every picture tedious...

Resizing pictures is very easy to do with Adobe Photodeluxe.

There is a button for resizing for posting to the web.

Click that and Save.

That's all there is to it.

I hope one of those programs works so well you can refer everybody to it. I use my Photoshop replacement program, Affinity Photo, and it works quickly and very well. Still, I must agree with Paul that resizing the photos is a pain in the neck.

Oh, yeah: The maximum number of kilobytes per post is 230. That means if you want to put four images in a single post, each image can't be bigger than about 57 kilobytes. Since that's rather ridiculous, resize each photo to 230 kb and put each in a single post.
