I took my 55 Nomad kit and turned it into an El Camino - this is the first time I have ever done scratch building, and the first time I have ever used Bare Metal Foil. I lowered the suspension up front, raised it up in the back, swapped out the kit 283 for a Corvette 327, added power brakes with brake booster, and added side pipes. I painted the chrome wheel body color, just because I thought it added an interesting touch. The paint is Model Masters Lime Metallic. It isn't perfect, but I consider it a success.
