The contours of the container corners, I have taken from the drawing and machined from 0.5 mm brass sheet.
The fold lines are milled with a engraver and the MS 58 was annealed before buckling, so that nothing breaks.

It is also able to produce my first vertical corner profile.
Since it was not possible for me to bend such a profile of sheet metal, I cut it from 2 sides of a 1.5 mm sheet.

An original 20 feet container has the following dimensions in mm in the model and the scale of 1: 22.5
Length: 6058 mm = 269.2 mm
Width: 2438 mm = 108.4 mm
Height: 2591 mm = 115.2 mm
I will restrict the container than half relief on the length of about 65.6 mm.
I want to paint the container in the green at the time originally used.

Overall, I already about 1000 pieces introduced my short piece of container 0.5 mm holes in the brass, with only a second-hand drill.

Here to see the use tools engraving tool with a point angle of 92 °, drill 0.5 mm and two milling discs 1 mm.
Now it is time once the missing pieces to construct the sidewalls.

this is my milling cutter really only one engraving for signs that can only 2.5D.
But she is very precise in the CNC 2 dimensions.

After soldering I can clean the frame only in the dishwasher, more will follow later but there also is pending a floor cross member, as a support for the wooden floor.
Wall, floor and ceiling are the prototype of a multi-layer wood panel, so I'm going to make these parts from 1 mm plywood.

Even with handicap I could hundreds 0.5mm riveting solder and thanks to a Resistance soldering tool went this really optimal.

The Pertinax plates are merely soldering agents and are later replaced with plywood.
The inner retaining strips I could milling and drilling, thanks to the repeatability of my CNC machine all adds precisely.
Now even lack the internal fan panels and then I can start with the doors.

Splendid fabrication. I find the miter groove and fold method you used to make the corner boxes especially top notch work. I have never seen that attempted with metal, it is a fairly common technique for producing boxes (1:1) for stereo equipment, speakers and such. This thread caught my eye because I have actually been looking at getting one of these (a 1:1 40') and had to take a look and I am glad I did. I almost went ahead and bought a real nice one last week (The floor looked like an Apitong bowling alley- was basically brand new), but I am thinking I need to put a concrete slab for it to sit on first, otherwise the darned packrats here in the desert would have a metropolis built under it in short order. Keep up the great work, will be following along!
