Howdy,

since a long time.......always busy in modeling (and missing password ).
My last work is a freelanced vertical boiler shay in On30!
I have to start this porject on B'man Shay, I entirely dismounted  the engine and preserved, frame, trucks, cylinders and gearboxe.
I crossed in length and width the frame, for for better proportions of the engine!
I installed a Faulhaber motor in the boiler, for the other parts I used, styrene and brass!
The photos will speak more than me in my poor english!
Sincerely!

LLOYD

A very nice way to use the B-mann shay.

 Lloyd,

thanks for showing this conversion.  your work just arrives in time as I have a dissassembled unit in my drawer and I didn't know what to do with it.

Howdy,

thanks for your interest for this conversion!
First step in paint, airbrushed with  grey #66 humbrol, and mixted color for the wood boxe...

LLOYD

after lettering, to give a darker color, airbrushed black ink diluted with alcohol...
