HO scale victorian house

I had an article published in last years Modelers Annual, and since then, Russ and I have been conversing about all sorts of things. He invited me here and I thought I would post a few shots of a Victorian house I did last September in HO scale, prompted after another I saw on this forum with some really well done trim. This is more a test to see how this forum uploads compared to another. So you might have seen this before. I call it the 'house of seven gables' after someone had suggested that name.

That porch swing is an exact (well, as close to) copy of one I built for the gazebo out back of our house. All done in styrene, board by board. Took a little bit of thinking to get it all square. I used string to hang it, but put ACC on that to stiffen it.

OK, first time I tried this kind of link. Lets see if it works.
This is the house I modeled it after, It is on page 67 of Dover's book 'Victorian House Designs in full color'. I chose this house to build as it had a stone foundation, or first floor, and I wanted to do the mixed mediums of stone with wood. The only real problem I had was getting the shingles right at the top of the cone shaped tower.
