Here is the start is a 1/24th scale diorama that will have kids playing on a derelict d-7 bulldozer. right now I am at the rust stage. just sprayed hairspray on the model now on to the base colors. the seat is styrene with wire for the springs covered with a painted paper towel, more weathering on that after it drys. more to come soon
cheers

Here are a couple more images of the base paint done today, The rust on the model is a combination of Mig light and dark rust effectsand Rustall with baking soda.

I third the comment.
...also, who's is the 1/24 crawler from?

Only critique could see, is that maybe the scene is a bit too large/long, and some of the focus on the dozer is lost...is the rail section an important part of/or does it enhance, the story you are telling?

Look forwrd to your progress.

We insist on a little more detail regarding your excellent (and ancient) looking rust sir! :)

%The crawler is a 1/24th die cast from Norscot it was beat up when I got it so it became a good piece for the diorama
