Thanks Chuck.  I think the Drill Press will be the real challenge.

Ray glad you stopped in and thanks.

Good idea MJ.  Maybe later today.

Well I'm back again. After a short period of things to do in real life. I've finished the Drill Press well almost I still need to give it a couple of the green wash.
And the chain needs to be done yet. Also noticed a shaft missing.

But as always comments welcomed.

Nice! You are getting a really good authentic look to the colors. Having done a machine shop many years ago(in HO) one trick is the chips. I actually made chips purposely for it, taking really small cuts on a real lathe...and I mean REALLY small cuts. It looked OK, oversize for HO..but prob better in O.

You need a couple holes in the drill press table...no drill press is complete with out them! In the shop trade its known as the "smile", get enough of the holes and it looks like a smile.

What do you mean you took a break to do things in real life? I thought building the machine shop was your real life! At least it certainly LOOKS real. -- Russ

Now you know Russ that after you retired you have more things to do than before. >:(

Let's put it this way: So far I can do more of what I WANT to do than before I retired. -- Russ
