I thought you guys might like a little diverson... The builder's name is Dave Sherman and he mostly works in the larger scales. His craftsmanship and technical expertise (about real race cars) really shows in his work. Here is a link to his build albums.  You might be there awhile.  Later, Gary

That  AA-FA car is out of this world.......this guy is good.....being a drag-race fan and going to a few NHRA national events and hanging in the pits I have seen plenty of cars like this and....the detail is spot on....look's like the car will Fire right up.  Can smell the NITRO already.   Would love to have a few of his models in my collection Grin        Craig

Thanks for the link, Gary.  Having seen this stuff up-close last weekend, I can vouch
for the fact that the craftamnship is simply astounding.  He's done a lot of homework.

Ken,
You were where, the NNL in Socal?  As far as Dave's work goes, as I understand it he is / was a drag racer for years, so he gets the small stuff just right.  See anyone else I know there, like Dean Lowe?  Gary

You were where, the NNL in Socal?
...the Maryland NNL.  If he's from Socal, though, I might be confusing him with
somebody else, but there was some big stuff there that sure LOOKED like his.....

Ken, you are right - same guy.  The reason I throught it was the Socal show was that is the most recent show  - and I had that stuck in my head for some dumb reason.  Sorry, Gary
