Very believable. There (really) are tiny apartments in Tokyo about the same size
where the stove doubles as a bed or a shower or something like that :)

A lot bigger then my roomette on a recent Amtrak trip.  And, quite possibly more comfortable.

Living van now finished.  I've included a photo with the Bandai 16th scale roller.  The ladder rungs and chair back used up a fair number of toothpicks!  Roof was corrugated sheet plastic curved in hot water. Lettering was "Letraset" - now difficult to obtain (purchased through e-Bay). It was obviously rather old and some letters crumbled, but the result was better than me trying to had letter the name.  On the roller the lettering was done of the computer and printed onto waterslide paper.
