yes,  looks a little like a bricklayer from Shropshire who also has problems with perps lining up.

But then again that's what give character to the model. 

no need for the corner, we'd rather have you keep modelling so that we can all enjoy your work.  Standing in the corner is so unproductive.

yep!

Looks like typical used american brick , all different lengths, huge headjoints so the bonding is staggered all over the place. Soldier at the top.
