At the loading dock end of the Macton Layout there will be an operating overhead crane, this crane is for loading and unloading locomotives to and from the factory from the standard gauge siding wagons. also it is used for off loading supplies to the factory from both rail and road vehicles. The gantry is fabricated from Plastruct angle and Evergreen strip. the rivet detail is embossed with a riveting tool that I made. The bolts are made from a strip of styrene that has been drilled and chopped then glued to the rod pieces that are placed through the beam.
